This page is for anyone who is interested in the well being of the people that make up the Town of Coosada. As officials of the town we at times become aware of situations or circumstances that need attention, yet because of the legal constraints of government, may not be able to lend a helping hand.
This page will contain needs of the community where volunteer help could lend a hand. Some examples may be the cleaning of an abandoned lot, cutting the lawn of a shut in, or a spring cleaning day at the city park. There may also be times when someone with the skills of an electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc. might have an opportunity to help someone with a specific need who may be unable to afford needed repairs themselves.
Therefore we encourage you to send us an email address with something about yourself and stating under what circumstances you would be willing to help one of your neighbors in need. We can then email you when the circumstances arise where we feel you might be able to help.
If you are part of a group (church youth groups, etc.) please email us about the work of your organization where we can hopefully network with your group and others so we can have a comprehensive, competent and responsive group of volunteers willing to lend a helping hand to those in need in our own community.
We also encourage you to help us be the eyes and ears of the community. If you know of a situation that needs to be addressed, inform us by email or take the phone and call city hall. Please go to the Contact page to participate.
